Save the date for the 21st Annual Threads Across Nebraska, hosted by the Nebraska State Quilt Guild (NSQG)! Join us October 9 – 10, 2026, at the Buffalo County, Fairgrounds in Kearney for a vibrant celebration of quilting artistry from across the state.
Featured Quilter: Terri Uden
We are proud to showcase Terri Uden as the 2026 featured quilter. Terri’s passion for sewing began during her years in 4-H and has grown into a lifelong dedication to quilting. With a background in vocational home economics and years of service in Nebraska’s 4-H program, she has inspired many through her teaching and creativity.
This year’s event will feature 25 – 30 quilt guilds showcasing their work, with 150 – 200 stunning quilts on display. Visitors will enjoy a colorful array of pieces – from miniatures and wall hangings to full-size bed quilts – representing a wide range of styles, including traditional, modern and art quilts. Whether you are an experienced quilter or simply an admirer, you will find inspiration in the craftsmanship of participants spanning all skill levels, from beginners to award-winning artist.

Featuring 21 vendors from around the area, NE, SD, KS, and IA. Explore a diverse selection of vendors offing fabrics, patterns, books, sewing notions, hand-dyed/painted textiles, antique quilts, long arm quilting demonstrations and more.
