Threads Across Nebraska 2020 Canceled
A Message from LeAnne Killion, Threads Across Nebraska chair:
It is with a heavy heart that we announce Threads Across Nebraska 2020, October 9-10, has been canceled. I am aware, we are still 5 months out from the event and many things could change. While anticipating that we will still have the suggested mask wearing and 6 ft social distancing, we are concerned about accommodating social distancing and sterilizing to keep areas sanitized.
The decision was not made lightly. We took into consideration the need to have people attend the show, the inability to do our spring call for quilts to the state guilds and the concern of the health of all the attendees, volunteers and our vendors. We felt we needed to protect the health of all concerned and will be canceling the event for fall 2020.
Scott Alan Flanagan is planning on being the featured quilter at next year’s Threads Across Nebraska to be held on October 8-9, 2021. We hope to have all our vendors back! There will be classes offered as well. So, mark the date on your calendars and save your money!!
Thanks for understanding and hope to see everyone soon.
